The 2016 Inertia is extremely layered with gobs of fruit, yet carries a lot of nuance while remaining in full balance. A powerhouse of a wine in its youth. The appealing nose drags your senses everywhere, making it hard to pinpoint a single aroma. On the palate there’s an array of fruit and brawn that delivers power, encasing a vast amount of complexity, poise and plenty of structure. This wine finishes with red fruit, a splash of black fruit, spice, and fine grain tannin. The acid carries the structure and ripe fruit flavors for a long lasting finish.
